Open to anyone with an interest in the subject matter, wants to develop their skills and expand their knowledge. This workshop is particularly appropriate for training and practicing counsellors, psychotherapists, counselling psychologists and others in the helping professions who work therapeutically with others.
Sarah London is a qualified BACP Snr Accredited Supervisor, Counsellor and qualified and experienced trainer. Sarah has worked with her therapy dog Stanley for seven years, mostly in secondary schools but also with adult clients and supervisees.
Sarah trained with Rise Van Fleet, the internationally renowned therapist, author and founder of the International Institute for Animal Assisted Play Therapy.
She has also trained with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers.
Sarah offers 1:1 counselling and Animal Assisted Therapy for adults, trainee and qualified counsellors, children and young people as well as clinical supervision for individuals and groups of counsellors and others in helping professions.
This is an 'in person' workshop, based at Iron Mill's venue in Poole. The running of this workshop as an 'in person' workshop is dependent on the Covid-19 restrictions and social distancing measures in place at the time of the workshop date.
If Covid-19 restrictions are such that the workshop cannot go ahead in person, it will either be postponed or moved online.
